Information we collect
- Order info: name, shipping address, billing address, email, phone, and what you ordered. Used to fulfill the order, send shipping updates, and answer questions.
- Payment info: payment processed by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Account info: if you create an account, we store your name, email address, and profile photo (from Google if you use Google sign-in). We never store a password — sign-in uses Google or a one-time emailed link.
- Your saved playlist:if you’re signed in, the songs you queue on the Listen page are saved to your account so they follow you across devices. Not signed in? Your playlist stays only in your own browser.
- Usage analytics:we keep first-party, aggregate records of activity on our own site — like which songs and products are popular and how the shop is used — to improve the site and our offerings. We don’t use advertising cookies or sell this data.
- Newsletter signups:if you subscribe to our newsletter, we keep your email in our newsletter audience and send you the occasional update. Creating an account does not sign you up for marketing — that’s a separate opt-in.
How we use it
- Fulfill, ship, and follow up on orders.
- Send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping notifications).
- Send newsletters — only if you opted in.
- Improve the site based on aggregate analytics.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your information.
- We don’t share your email with third parties for their marketing.
- We don’t track you across the web with advertising cookies.
Service providers
We use trusted third-party services to run the business: Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email + sign-in links), Sanity (content), Supabase (secure account & playlist storage), Google (optional sign-in), Netlify (hosting), Printful (apparel fulfillment), and Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (some shipping). Each handles only the data needed for its role.
Your rights
If you have an account, you can delete it and all its data yourself anytime from your account page(“Delete my account & data”). You can also request a copy of your data, unsubscribe from the newsletter, or correct any incorrect information by emailing thekoffeekitchen@gmail.com.
Updates
We may update this policy as the business changes. Significant updates will be communicated via email if you have an account.
